Gap between diffuser and bumper
Gap between diffuser and bumper
So i had my new rear diffuser installed about 3 weeks ago but there is a gap between the diffuser and the bumper . At first i thought the guys who installed didn't do it right and i would just have them fix it when i go back to have my tips done ... but i looked under the car today and it seems like it was installed just fine . I took some pics for guys to see . Is there something i should put in between the gap or have it re-installed ?

There is no need to remove it if it is on as far as it is already. Are there tabs on the top where the separation is? If there is, then push hard as all hell till you hear them snap in. My guess is the tabs either on top (if they are there) or on the sides are not all the way in.

Then you probably need to push in ALL the tabs if they are free floating. Make the top tabs are lined up and PUSH it till it makes a POPPING noise.
Actually there the 18 inch oem wheels sprayed with Plasti Dip lol . Was only supposed to be short term to see if I liked the black but now I'm switching to Vertini Fairlady's . Stuff holds up damn good though went through a NY winter with no problems lol .
My diffuser tabs did not match the holes and the rib at the top would not allow the diffuser to go in the whole way. I ground the rib down and cut the tabs off and fiberglassed aluminum tabs that matched the holes, pushed them through the holes and bent them down so they would hold tight. Now it fits perfect.
