c300 aux video in WORKS. THIS ONES WORKS
I got a few email about this since i had this same question some months back.
so yes i got the audio/video cable to work in my 2010 c300.
i placed the link on the bottom but in case it does not work just go to ebay and use keywords: 3.5 mm to audio video. cable works just great.
oh and the cable colors dont match but its not a big deal. example the yellow(video) will most likely be an audio and either the red or white(audio) will be the video. all you gotta do is when you plug in whatever video device just switch the cables around. oh and 4th gen ipod classic dont output video thru the 3.mm input. you have to buy the expensive cable that has video output thru the ipod cable. i just didnt bother with it.

I tried it on a 2012 C300. I turned the aux video input on in the engineering menu. I get audio but no video.
Anyone else try this or have any ideas?

Um... yes I did. Figured he was being sarcastic, even though it was posted on april 1st.
I read elsewhere that the aux input in the center console supported aux video in in the 2012 at least. I also saw the back of a 2012 headunit with a factory aux video cable running out of it.
Also he posted the same thing in this thread not in the month of April: https://mbworld.org/forums/c-class-w...deo-audio.html
Maybe he was full of crap? If so it was still worth the $1.99 to test it in the 2012 model.
