HID fog lights
Just got my shipment from Mike of 5000K HIDs--looking forward to installing this weekend! Has anyone installed these yet for the fog lights? I saw the video for placement of the ballasts for the headlights but not sure for the fog lights--any suggestions out there?

For immediate shipment 8 sets of HID kits (H7 5000K, H11 5000K, H11 8000K, 9006 5000K, 9006 8000K). These will not come with the kit box, but all components are still individually boxed and is the only way we can get it through customs. First come first serve, please send email to aznoptics@gmail.com to claim.

Thanks for the quick shipping! Installed the W5W LED in my 2012 ML 550 (parking lights) looks great, really close match to the DRL led. They don't seem as bright as regular light bulbs though. Is this normal?

try twisting it so that the side facing LEDs are facing left and right to properly catch the side reflectors.

lumen for lumen, they are brighter, but halogens are true 360 which maximizes the reflectors which gives the illusion of being brighter as you'll have more lighted surface area.

Ordered my HID kits on the 10th and it arrived on the 22nd June here in Brunei. Ran into a few issues during the install but Mike got it well taken care of. I gotta say, Mike really does provide excellent customer service and is really highly recommended.

As our Facebook subscribers already know, we've cut over our 194 Wedge LEDs to our new V3 design.
We're constantly exploring new technologies and techniques to present the best possible product out there for you. This new design utilizes a "box" top design will utilize a larger CREE diode and output slightly more lumen (brighter) and give better 360 degree lighting output. The big thing is we've introduced a new high temp resistant non-conductive gel substrate to the resistor component that has a much higher melting point than solder. This will help keep components in place during all but the largest of current surges which results in heat spikes. This is a problem with all aftermarket LEDs on some vehicles where these heat spikes reach the melting point of the solder which causes the resistors to "float" freely and allow gravity and engine/car vibration to cause component shifting. With this gel, everything is held in place until the current surge passes and the solder re-solidifies with everything held in place.
These have already undergone months of live testing from our volunteers and have met with success.
I'll get pictures posted later this week of the updated design.
