Thanks for posting the p1 and p2 packages for the tails on your site. It makes it much easier, and maybe even us saves a few dollars
edit: just noticed that it says 10 units in stock, but lower down it states "This product will be in stock on Tuesday 26 April, 2011"
ERROR: does not compute

lol. Yeah, I will have 10 packages ready for sale on April 26th (maybe earlier). I have everything but the 1156 reverse light in white which sold out fast.

Mike,
Got the LEDs today! Installed and look great. They make me wish I had gotten 4500K HIDs instead of the 8000K.
On a side note....if anyone wants to swap 8000K HIDs headlights for lower let me know.

Yeah, stinks you won't have 1156 for a while... Let me give you my opinion. Stock up on TONS of the white reverse LED and red turn signal LED. Hopefully we won't have to wait too long for the white LED reverse lights.

yeah, when I did this first batch, I said it was to test the market to see what the public wants. It's overwhelmingly white and red 1156 so will be opening full on production of those two lines.
Here's the video. Kinda hard to see the difference, but it's more dramatic in life. Right side has white 1156 tail lights, with white 1156 reverse light. Left has red 1156 tail lights, with stock reverse light

OK...may I have another explanation, please? If I understand correctly, with the LED, the "egg yolk" concern is gone, as the LED doesn't show its color when off. Amber turn signals are demonstrably more effective, which is why the European Union has required them for years, so why would the interest be so strong for red turn signals? What is the benefit of a red turn signal, especially for something you don't see while driving? I would never consider going from amber back to red, which I see as a downgrade.

I think its more of a youth or aesthetics thing than a practical use thing. Even though I want to get the LED to get rid of the egg yolk effect, I also dislike the yellow/amber look in the tailight. And while you are correct, that you can't see it while you are driving. I do it so my car looks nice to other people and unique from others on the road. Afterall, this is truely the point of all mods.

Here's a question for you guys, though. If everyone thinks red looks better, what happens to having your car stand out when everyone looks the same again?!?!?

In comparison to all the cars that are still manufactured with amber turn signals - having a red turn signal would make you stand out. No?

True, but I guess I was thinking about the mod community. I am picturing a parking lot full of C Classes at a SoCal meet, all with red lamps, but each hoping to look unique I guess I will be standing out with amber turn signals!!

I am getting red turn signals just because the car came with amber. I think people need justification in doing a mod that will actually get noticed. Putting in another amber LED for me - kind of defeats the purpose of the mod. But depending on how "amber" it looks, I might consider it. A deep orange would be pretty cool.

Azn, sorry I'm confused with all the different LEDs and stuff lol. I just want red LED turn signals can you just tell me which exactly I need for both rear turn signals? And how many sets I need.
Thanks in advance

You will need the 7507 led bulb type in red. One led for each tailight, two LEDs total. Since each set comes with two LEDs, you will only need one set of red 7507 led.

Sorry, just couldn't resist...
On a serious note, red rear turn signals are not illegal. Most (if not all?) rear OEM LED turn signals are red. I can't think of one car that has amber.
I am fully onboard with egg-yolk removal and already have stealth bulbs all around. Why will I probably get a set of 7507 LEDs from Mike? Because of the small advantage of having super fast turn-on times. That, along with being brighter, are the only true benefits of LEDs for signals and brake lights (again, IMO!). I will probably get amber vs red though due to the clear housing. Red LEDs in clear tend to be too harsh for the eyes for me.

I don't have stock amber turn signals anymore so can't put it on to compare.
