I had painted the calipers on Darth V1 red, I can't decide what to do with Darth V2 hence the poll.

Hmm, I think it would be cool to see white calipers. I think it would contrast quite nicely. Otherwise I wouldn't mind seeing something slightly more colorful like blue :3

 

what about silver? If not, I wanted to paint mine yellow or orange. Just haven't had the time.

 

I like what you did on Darth 1

red with CF on the MB logo... red may be far too common these days but it still creates a good contrast

 

I think silver will give a classy finish.

 

Was it difficult to get them painted (time and labor to take them apart)? I am looking at painted mine as well.

I painted them on the car. You just have to be careful with the brush.

Thanks for all the suggestions for alternate colors. Mike has done white with his Brembos (they look awesome) and they are already silver stock. I am leaning toward red (still have half a can left) but no CF on V2 I'll mask off that area so it won't get messed up. I am definitly painting the hubs and edge of the rotors black I don't like the silver finish MB used.

 

Id go with yellow or blue, thats what I was planning anyway

I would go black. And also cause I'm not a fan of painting calipers if they aren't BBK lol. That's just my thoughts on that though. I know it's your own choice to do what you want with them but I just wouldn't want my small brakes to "stand out" haha since usually only BBKs are painted flashy colors. But that's not to say it doesn't look cool if you do paint them. Just saying lol

 

My Silverstone NSX had "copper" calipers, and small people on the roof.

 

I would suggest red if you're still going to have wheels with a red pinstripe. Otherwise, black.

 

thats too much red i think.. id go black, and where it says "mercedes-benz" id do that in red.. subtle.. i did something like that with vinyll

 

a black car with yellow calipers looks sick

Red all the way... Just painted mine and i love it...
