Very nice!

Is that a 200 CDI or 220 CDI?

Why did you chose one version over the other?

It's 200 CDI blueefficiency! It was the only version available yet and the car was on the dealer's inventory so i got a big discount, and i think it's worth! It has lost of torque and the overall performances are really close to 220 CDI.

Nice.

I too have the C 200 CDI BE. Even thoug mine is a 2011 and thus not facelifted, the engine is the same, just without ECO start/stop.

I also like the C 200 CDI. It is just as powerfull as the old 220 CDI (OM646), and clearly has more power than the quoted 100 kW/136 PS.

Again, thanks.

BTW, is that a Dortmund plate?

Yes that is a Dortmund plate. The car belongs to Dome///AMG

He was the first one to test these:

Someone correct me if I'm wrong (I'm having trouble gathering solid info) but does the 2012 include navigation STANDARD with audio 20? It appears that it does. I'm wondering what specifically the differences will be in 2012 if you have audio 20 vs COMAND.

Not standard, only if you order xenon. Think its a money question, the prices are reduced a little here in the EU.
Ordered mine with the same setup as my 2008 W204. Prices of packages are reduced so much that i pay 7500 euro less for my new car comparing to the price i paid for my 2008.

Here in the EU, audio 20 is standard in the car.

With pilot map navigation.

You can also have command with internet now in the 2012 model.

Yeah it wondered me also.... Dont know about the US but Europe is without projector if you dont order xenon.

Now i must say that the projector lamps in my car dont give much light (non xenon) thats why i put aftermarket xenon in my car.

Letts see if the light of my non xenon new car gives more light.

I think US cars will come with non-projectors as well. Seems like MB is pulling a "new Jetta" with the C250 in order to price it much lower..as I said in another thread, I was told the C250 coupe will have a base msrp lower than the 2011 C300 sedan (so under $33,990), and of course the C250 sedan will be even lower.

The nav option for the Audio 20 system is relatively inexpensive as well..with the 5.8" screen it may be a decent alternative to the command system.

All you gotta say is "pulling a new Jetta". Lol. Anyone who's sat in or researched those things will know exactly what that implies.

Dealer ordering guide shows a picture of the C class without Lighting Package with reflectors. I hope COMAND Online makes it to the US on my ordered C class, but I have a strong feeling it won't since it is not mentioned in the dealer ordering guide.

On a side note, I saw pictures of the new Chevy Malibu (I own a Malibu as well), and current owners are saying that they're happy for the new car to see that it now has projectors (for what I assume will be the NON HID version, but not positive), instead of the current cars reflectors, while M-B downgrades from projectors to reflectors on their non HID version. I gotta say, as a buyer or owner, this would make me feel good about my pre-facelift W204 if I had one, or it would make me happy about being someone who always will opt for the HID option, as your car will be that much cooler and your money spent that much more effective.

By all measures, the Malibu has been considered a very well done car for its purpose. I am not a style-driven buyer, but I was very surprised and disappointed to see the renewal. The rear is interesting with the Camaro-esque taillamps, but the side and particularly the front looks like what I would expect to see lining the rows at Avis. A two year old Sonata is still more interesting to look at, and with what Ford has done with Focus and Fiesta, I expect the Fusion re-do, based on Mondeo, to also pass Malibu by very quickly for exterior design. There isn't a headlamp technology in the world which could make that sheetmetal and grille seem new or fresh. Still, a very solid piece of engineering for a typical daily driver.
