did a little search but couldnt find any real good shot of it

Did you have two rubber dust caps included in the kit? If so, drill a hole big enough to installed the cap and pass the wires though the cap, check the sticky DIY thread for HID lights.

i had seen a really small pic of people drilling on the edge of the cap and just passing the wiring through, but i really couldnt see it very well so i was hoping someone had a good pic of it, or if the center drill method

One thing I forgot to mention about the pic is that the hole (7/8" as directed by DDM's instructions, but was on a rubber/flimsy cap not a hard cap like ours) was slightly too small. I had to cut a small notch in it to fit one of the connectors through. I work at a manufacturing firm, so I had one of our machinists help me out during lunch break. Otherwise, I probably would have tried the notch in the side method as well. As you can tell, there aren't that many wires to fit through.

did you go for any silicone sealant? i was thinking about the side notch but i dont wanna make it too crowded in there...

I didn't wanna drill through the thing in the middle, so I just went next to it. No issues here, no silicone & no condensation.
