improved new side mirrors, no blind spot?
has anyone hear about new c-class's side mirror that improved blind spots?
one of my friends took this pic at autoshow, i'd love to buy it if i know where i can get it.

that is for the new 2012 C class...probably impossible to add it to our cars because it requires some sort of sensor, probably a parktronic sonar sensor to detect the vehicle next to yours

he is referring to the triangle in the mirror that lights up when there is a car in your blind spot, part of the new safety package that will debut on the 2012 C class; blind spot assist

It wasn't available in the E coupe when we got it... (But then again, I'm practically in the backseat when I'm driving that car anyways...)
It did come with the driver attention assist or w.e it's called. Never had it come on once. Even tried letting go of the gas and wheel and let the car cruise by itself for a few seconds, but nothing. Maybe it's not turned on?

Saabs have the concaved mirros like that (you can tell by the tiny deviding line) for close to 10 years now. My cousin had 02 9.3 Areo and it had mirrors like that.
