One little flaw
Ok, shipping my 09 sport C-300 to the islands, and one of the requirements when I get to the mainland port (before it's loaded on the ship) is to make sure that there's only a quarter tank or less. Sounds easy enough but when my gauge is barely down from the quarter mark the reserve light comes on and this kills the odometer function. I know I can go by the owner's manual regarding how many gallons are supposed to be left in the reserve, but can I trust this?
I would rather have the milage displayed along with the reserve light so I can guestimate where I am. I have to drive it about 90 something miles to the port, and it's through some heavy freakin' bay area traffic and I don't want any surprises. Any thoughts?

Press the Back arrow on the left side of your steering wheel. It will temporarily stop the Low Fuel indicator so you can use the other functions.

Ok, thanks guys, I knew there was a process or a fix. I remember what the reserve is supposed to hold, but my owner's manual has been packed up and shipped already (not allowed in the car when I ship it). I'll try both and see what happens
