-Looks cool but now you can't see your gauge?
The phone cradle here is in landscape mode, when turned to portrait or vertical you can see most of the gas gauge. Also this mount is not permanent, it's held by a suction cup deal. it was just too big and obvious to have up in my windshield. I love when the V1 is plugged into the iPhone, it puts the V1 into concealed mode. Smart!
-so much things going on in your dash.
Very true. I do freeway commuting to and from work everyday. if I could add more things to help my commute and avoid tickets I would. Fresno (central Cali) to San Francisco 3hrs north or Fresno to LA in 4hrs south is very common for me. Plus we all know how much California is hurting for cash (the HWY-P just itching to pull people over) so this helps me out tremendously.
Uniden BCT-12 Pics of this install. What kind of antena did you go with?
-Soon I promise! I went to radioshack and got a straight antenna for now, i couldn't deal with that bent one it comes with. http://www.radioshack.com/product/in...ductId=2102525
Now looking into getting a trunk mounted antenna with a magnetic base. Here's one I found.http://www.scannermaster.com/450_470.../20-541631.htm
