exhaust/mufflers help

I color matched my diffuser over the weekend and put it on this morn. I have my xtra tips and was gonna go scout some exhaust places this week to do the J pipe weld on w the tip to make quads. I started thinking that since this is another lease like last car I might be better off just doing an exhaust since I can put the stock back on and reuse or sell the exhaust when done. Ive been looking around and cant find anything under like 2grand, I just dumped 51k on the car and 3k on rims and misc. parts. I dont care about the sound, I like the car kinda quiet, just want the look. I had a lead on a meisterchaft for a grand almost new, guy backed out. Does anyone know of a muffler only swap or tipe swap that is somewhat unobtrusive? I know alot of these exhaust are cat back or xpipe and exhaust, anything just like swappin 2 mufflers? I could easily cut and install and reinstall stock in 2 and a half years to undo. I read and searched like crazy all weekend, I only saw one setup w magnaflows but no part #s or any real info..........thanks for any help advice

Jimmy 2K for a Meisterchaft was a good buy and if you want to save money you can do Magnaflow X pipe and custom tips for under $500. where are you from? Magnaflow X Pipe Part # http://www.autoanything.com/exhausts...J&AID=10399503

Im in morris county NJ. I did my rear kinda like yours, cant tell by your sig if its CF or paint but looks good. I took a factory C63 diffuser and color matched my car. looks nice on black. My best friend owns a body shop and I been around cars all my life and learned to paint in high school. havin a full shop at my disposal makes fixin my equipment and hookin up my cars smooth. shop only has a mig welder so Im limited on exhaust mods. Im actually tryin to price a C63 L and R muffler but I think its gonna be well over 1k. Im not tryin to put an Xpipe on, I really dont want much sound mainly the look. A little growl is OK but Im not trying to get anything major in soundwise. Anyone know of any inexpensive aftermarket mufflers that are bolt on or universal that fit well w quads? I saw remus had just mufflers for a grand but theyre single tip not dual I woulda just done that.....

as i know of their are no bolt on except Meisterchaft and eisenmann with a price range of $2500 and up brand new. The other alternative is the x pipe that cost like $70 that makes a noticeable sound within the 3500K and 4500k RPM doing a custom quad with just regular C350 OEM tips can be done. I remember some members here are just selling the tips it self from there C350. My diffuser is Carbon Fiber with large fins.

Looks like you are very hands on, I’m sure you can do oxyacetylene welding at your friend’s body shop and by using some v band clamps you can make a bolt on system.

thats what I was kinda leaning towards, doing a cut and clamp on a muffler system that has quad tips, Im really only after the look, and I'm skeptical of doing the J weld to add the other tip in case I get stuck having to replace the stock mufflers at lease turn in. If I end up having to shell out $530 for each muffler at lease turn in Id be better off putting that $ to a bolt on now that I could sell down the road. Im tempted to try the magnaflow universals but they give few specs as far as sizes and theres not alot of room under the rear, and Ive searched for days on tips looking for a dual tip that has a straight runout with a J secondary and they dont exist, they are all Y tip duals. I did find a rectangular with oblong entry that looks good, not sure dual rectangle oversized would look good though, kinda like whats on the new E class
