I need help plz
Hey guys,
So for dumb reasons, I had to remount my 3 piece spoiler... Now that I got it off I figured it wouldn't be too hard to get the original tape off. Getting it off the car was a breeze, but it seems to really be stuck onto the spoiler. Here's some pics..

I tried using 'Goof Off' but it's not working either. When i try to peel it away after I put some Goof Off on, it only peels away the top layer and not the bottom. My car looks naked w/o the trunk lid lol. What should I do to get it off? And btw, I even put some goof off on it over night and it didn't do anything -_-
Thanks in advanceeeee

Goo Gone, Terry Cloth Towel, Plastic Razorblade, few layers of skin/nails, and a good amount of patience. You want to make sure it's fully off and clean.

I know what you mean. The body shop had to remove my front lip spoiler when they repainted my front bumper and it took them quite a while to clean out all of the left over residue from the tape.
They soaked the tape with 3M adhesive remover which worked well to remove the tape initially. They used goo gone after to remove any remaining tape followed by lacquer thinner to smoothen it out for reapplication. A good hours work.

Have fun It took me two days to get it all off of Darth V1. Lots of cussing and worn out finger tips. On the back of the spoliers I just used a razor paint scraper easy as can be no one will see the underside.

The way some of you describe it makes it sound like a breeze hahaha. Definitely not. Looks like this will be a long project that I will put in a few minutes a day cause I don't have the patience lol :P
