Hi, Does anyone know how the carrier for the hazard triangle on the underside of the trunk lid is removed. I'd like to get to the underside of the trunk lid but this piece has beaten me so far! Help appreciated.

 

Wish I could help but we don't have that on US cars.

I wish we had that here in the states my aftermarket triangle is in the spare tire well along with my fire extinguser.

I do not know if this will help...but here is a picture of a triangle for sale, it shows that there are no screws just four clips on the back, so I would think you'll need a plastic trim tool and slide it under the trunk triangle and try to release the clips...hope seeing the pictures in link help (just my two cenys)

On a W204, just beneath the rotating toggle that secures the triangle, there is a little tongue. Push it in gently and the whole assembly moves to the left and lifts out.
