First Benz
H&R Sports and Super Sports are the widely used lowering springs for the W204. The Super Sports lowers your car by a little over an inch on all four corners... best if paired up with 5mm rear spring pads to replace the stock 13 mm ones. The Sports only lowers your car by a little over a quarter of an inch.
Some have also used Eibach. Same drop as the H&R Sports.
B&G also makes lowering spring for the W204.
If you want to spend extra you'll be happier with coilovers. H&R Street Performance or KW Variant. Ksport has recently released one that is by far the least expensive of all coilovers.

H&R super sport lower the car 1.7Fand 1.8R'' and regular sport 1.4F and 1.2R add a point or 2 after they settle completely.
I would invest money in coilovers though. Megan coilovers are on ebay for 850$ I believe, they make great parts but mostly for the jdm scene.
I'm selling some H&R Sport Springs that were only used for a month for $125 (+ shipping if out of state/not local pick up). You can find the thread here. https://mbworld.org/forums/suspensio...nth-125-a.html
I went with eibach's myself. Still haven't been able to tell how the ride was after, seeing as she's still in the shop T_T.

That seems like a good deal. How come you are getting rid of it after a month though?
Since I am new to the whole MB thing, should I get my work done at the dealership or a reputable shop? how much should a spring or coilover install cost?
Basically it was my horrible luck there ^ plus me+girlfriend not wanting to get out of the car with sore bums from the oh-so-"comfortable" SoCal roads.
