Rear Fog/Reverse Lamp on the US Model
Hi guys!
Just checking whether the US model W204 rear fog lamp is on the left or right side. One sided right?
What about the reverse lamp? One sided or two. If one, left or right?
I know the euro models have their fog lamp on the right.
Appreciate some answers . Thank you.

The upper tail light bulb, in tail light function, runs on a reduced voltage to match the lower tail light and when the rear fog is activated, voltage is changed to 12V, increasing the brightness considerably. Both left and right tail lights are the same and to change the fog to the right side for RHD cars the rear SAM is coded to do so. An owner cannot do this.

Rear fog is always on the driver's side. It does not use a separate bulb. Euro models do not have their fog on the right unless it's a right hand drive car.

I drive a UK spec car and it's right hand drive.
So meaning to change to an after market LED tail light will have no issues for both right or left hand drive cars. Correct me if I'm wrong.

If your Chinese lamp of choice brings in errors, the location of the fog light has nothing to do with it.
