They buy parts from us, and seem to be good guys. We have also sent a couple of our clients to them to have items purchased from us installed, and so far so good.

Great and thank you. I think I may pull the trigger on some Infinity separates, Infinity sub and pay to have InstallerNet do the work.

If you are installing in a 2011, you need to do quite a bit of work to make that happen beyond just the speakers. You will need a fiber pre-amp, signal processor and amp (at least to avoid any warranty issues)
Installer.net would not have all the items necessary to make it happen, although they do good thorough work according to our clients.

Ok - I saw the pre amp on your web site - check.
Above you say I'll need a signal processor and amp.
When you say amp, you are telling me to have a stand alone amp for the sub right?
Do you offer a signal processor?

Yes, you will need a stand alone amp/signal processor combo or separate signal processor and amp. We do for local installations only. We offer the Audison line of equipment and highly recommend it. It is currently viewed as the best on the market. There are others that a local installer may be able to offer as well. With this type of install, we generally like to consult closely with your installer to make the best fit, as most installers are general installers and not Mercedes specialists (they have several special requirements).

We do stock the parts to make the fiber pre-amp. Just takes a few days to get it in queue and ready to ship. We can not sell Audison over the internet, it is forbidden. A local installer can offer it (one way to tell a good shop, because not anyone can sell it). We can sell the Alpine fiber amp.
