How many songs can be played in a SDHC memory card for MM package?
Hi,,
I have read old threads about how many songs can be stored in SDHC with PCMCIA adapter.
People said maximum number of folders is 255 and songs is 4000.
I, however, can only play upto around ~8Gb with 2000songs in SDHC memory cards. It's Transcend 32Gb... There are only ~100 folders in memory so I don't think it is a folder issue..
Does anyone know how to resolve this? I brought it up at the dealership but they don't seem to know about it...

I am suspecting either my MM system or my SD card is limiting the storage. Dealership didn't find anything wrong on my system. So the only possibility that I can think of is that my SD card is not fully compatible.
I saw a guy in this forum claimed that he could only play 2000 songs, not 4000 songs on his sd card but others said 4000 songs. So which is right? 4000 or 2000? If it depends on SD card, I will have to buy the right one.
If 4000 is maximum capacity, then I will have to test with a new SD memory card
