Trunk Lid Light

Hello Forum,

I have seen people replace the interior trunk light with and LED, but I was wondering how you replace the trunk lid light? I kind of tried pulling the cover off but was afraid to break it. I put a picture of the light down below... any help would be appreciated.

You have to remove the entire plastic trim along the bottom edge of the trunk lid. I found a tutorial at...

...which gives clear photos of the screws to undo, etc.

Very easy to do, unscrew the hex screws on the plastic lid. Remove the push pins (pin puller helps, but thin flat head works too... worse case, fingernails). The entire cover should pop out and flex over the handle section. Unplug the lid light and replace the 194 wedge bulb
