Resistor-ing some LED tails, what wattage/resistance values?
So I got the Ebay tails and they work perfectly and look awesome, but throw that !#$@&*#@%&@$*@$^#&Q#$^&Q#$*^@$ing code every time I get in the car to drive it somewhere. All that's necessary here is to make the computer think it's seeing the load produced by a bulb, I'm curious what size resistor is necessary to clear up this problem?

Get a multimeter and measure the resistance in the circuit you are trying to correct with the OEM tails hooked up. Then hook up the aftermarket tails and measure that resistance.
Once you have two figures, go to Radio shack and buy a resistor to make up the difference and solder it into the circuit. put some heat tape around it.
