Blutooth cell phone

I called MB customer care center. They say the bluetooth phone should be one of phones listed on MB website, otherwise no guarantee the blutooth phone will be recognized by COMAND.

I have two blutooth cells. None of them is on MB phon list, and none of them can be connected to the COMAND. I am sure I turned the cell bluetooth connection on and let COMAND search for the blutooth phone.

Has anyone successfully connected the cell which is NOT one of those MB listed phones? Thanks.

Thanks for the quick reply.
Maybe my cell is too cheap. I don't see any 'search' function other than turning bluethooth on or off. Mine is samsung SGH-A737, one of the cheapest cell.

  1. Place the head unit in discoverable mode
  2. While in standby mode, press the left soft key for Menu
  3. Select Settings (9)
  4. Select Set Connectivity (6)
  5. Select Bluetooth (1)
  6. Select My Devices (2)
  7. Search for the Bluetooth device by pressing the left soft key for Select
  8. Press the left soft key for Yes to Activate Bluetooth & start the search
  9. Highlight the desired Bluetooth Device, using the navigation keys, then press the left soft key for Select
pulled it online......try this way

Thanks again. And I found there are more features I could try on my cell, such as 'My phone visibility' on or off (was off).

I think I turned my cell's 'visibility' on. COMAND found the cell in just a few seconds. Glad I don't have to buy another MB listed phone.

Pairing Samsung S5

I just bought a Samsung S5 and can't pair it with my 07 SL55. My Droid DNA works fine, but can't connect the Samsung. Any suggestions?
