What type of colour finish when painting front grill?

What type of colour finish when painting front grill?
I have a standard sport grille on my 2008 Obsidian black car but was wanting to know what sort of black finish would look better when spraying the front grille?Matte or glossy black,the chrome strip's/badge will stay as it is.

imo, vinyl wrap it. That way when it gets chipped up (and it will), you can just take off the vinyl and put a new one on. You can get flat black and gloss black options or just get both to see what you like best. JSDesignFactory has precuts that he measured off my grille.

I masked my grill very carefully and basically spray painted it. It did get 2 small chips and its been over a year now, so thats not bad. I tried to vinyl wrap it myself. It was very time consuming and gettting the circular part near the star is difficult, but AZN just said that somebody makes precuts, so its prolly best to go for those. Let us know how it goes. Car came back from paintshop yesterday,it had the front bumper and bonnet painted and the grille colour coded,very happy with result's!

Not been a good week,a few day's ago while my car was parked at my workplace car park,some blind truck driver clipped the passenger rear quarter near the rear light cluster while reversing and did some serious damage,i'm a little depressed at the moment,I know it's going to be fixed by a Mercedes recommended bodyshop but they said the rear quarter panel will need cutting out a replacing,i've got a 2011 BMW 5 serie's as a loaner while mine's being repaired,i'll post some pic's up when it's all done and back on the road.
