The whole "I want black wheels on my car" really picked up momentum in the early 2000s.
Later, the concept of "murdering out" a vehicle became even more popular by those who typically like to wear black shorts and a black metal mulisha t shirt and carry a black bandana in their back pocket.
Soooo funny to me that people will go to a shi shi poo poo dealer for a luxo car and want the luxo car to end up looking like this guys....

Im all for murda on cars but i just have to say I saw a matte black Ford Expo and I must say that is the strangest paint job I have ever seen. Ill take shiny over Matte any day... It just seems so unfinished....

The murdered out scene isn't based off any particular person's wardrobe. Ppl wanted black rims, weather their car was black, red, white. Then tinted tails came out and black housing/tinted headlights. It looks very well done when done correctly, especially on a different color car then black. I love the panda look(white on black n tints) and for black I prefer my black on gold rims. I wouldn't consider the c350 a luxurious car either..more sport oriented, I would consider anything above an E class luxurious.

I do like the lowered look but I like to keep the gap between wheel and wheel well even all around. Some lowered cars and cars on dubs tend to fill the top more than the sides

Murdered out is all fine and good, but sometimes it can be ghetto done. I'm a fan of some murdered where they make clever use of matte and gloss to add subtle contrast.
Murcis are surprising kinda boring to drive.
