Sidemarker question

Hey guys,

I just installed smoked sidemarkers that i got off ebay and noticed there is a little gap on the top for the drivers side sidemarker and a little gap on the bottom for the passenger side. Has anyone else run into this problem? Will it cause any problems in the future if i keep it this way? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.

These are the ones i bought. Smoked sidemarkers

hey thanks for the reply. I hope mine does not fall out. I tried my best to make it fit properly into the back piece.

Little gaps are normal. If it's a big gap, you can try to exchange it. My first set had big gaps along with or aesthetic issues, and the seller let me return it after I sent him pictures.

The gap is around 1 mm. You can only notice it if you go really close to it and look at it. Just wanted to make sure that if something like water seeps in through there i don't want to run into any problems.

Mine has gaps too. The plastic backing sticks out and creates the gap. I sanded some of the corners down and made it a bit better. I've had them on for almost 1 year and there are no problems.

Mine has a very tiny gap on the bottom corner which is only noticeable if you look at it closely. Make sure the rest of the corners are sitting well against the bumper and the side marker is not loose.

I haven't had any problems with mine but you can always cut a small piece of 3M automotive acrylic double sided tape to fill the gap.
