I never even knew what Plasti-Dip was, until I checked out the W204 Forums, lol. ![rolf](https://mbworld.org/forums/images/smilies/rofl.gif)
Seems to be a cheap alternative to powdercoating, and if it looks EXACTLY as nice, then what's the problem (in fact it's better, because you can apparently apply it yourself and peel it off). If it doesn't look exactly as nice, then IMO any self-respecting quality automobile will be downgraded with it. I have heard that it grabs dirt and sometimes the finish is less than ideal, but I did just some initial research after I found out that the stuff existed.

Lol. I am serious, but let me clarify it:
If by chance it did look like a "cheap version of powdercoating", then I think it would diminish the look and quality of a car, however, if it looks just as good as powdercoating, then who cares how much it costs! Hell, you can let someone pay you to do it! That means it can cost negative dollars!

Why did I use plasti-dip. Because I was unsure if I liked the black look and didn't want to powdercoat a set of rims and have them be useless if I didn't like it. So I plast-dipped, determined I liked it, and now have a legit set of black zinik minardi rims.

Why does it matter who has what options or what year their C350 is. I have a stock c300 and I love it! I dont care what someone has, if you really love your car than why compare it. And just as an FYI people have c63's on this forum and peple have slr's too.... so in a way who gives a F**k...
