Up to $100 off Service Gift Card
Just did a quick search for service A0 Coupons and ran across this thread from benzworld about receiving up to $100 gift card/coupon for your next service.
Basically sign up at the link below and click the box at the bottom. After submitting the system will randomly generate coupon codes for $25 / $50 / $75 / $100 off your next service. If you have multiple emails you can re-enter them and it'll keep generating new coupons. I got a $25 off but kept going through emails I had and finally got a $100 off coupon. Perfect timing as my scheduled service is next Thursday.

Here's the forum link where its being discussed as well.

Hope this helps someone looking to save on an upcoming service.
Coupon is only good for Service. Expires 7/20/2011

It says: "Offer applies to this vehicle only"... I wonder if when it gets time to pay, you present the coupon and they say "sorry, this is not an ML"....

Just use the car model posted. The value is based on the car. Plenty of people have already been using these and they don't check it against your own vehicle as you can just say you have the other model at home. Makes for a nice cheap service

Yeah, I am going to try this out as well. I will bring two coupons with me. One that is $100 off for the "1998 ML" I have. And if that doesn't work I will use the $25 off for the 2009 c300 I actually have. Better than nothing... Hopefully they won't be able to access the information of the vehicle type with the associated Pin number.
What I really think is that the disclaimer on the bottom is to just scare us into not doing what we did with the 1998 ml secret. But the dealers have no way of knowing what car you got the certificate with. (Or at least I hope so!).

I guarantee you you wont have a problem. The code isn't linked to a vehicle, rather is just a randomized promotion code (Courtesy of MB Technician Jenice @ Rusnak Mercedes). I was able to get an airfilter replacement for $11.87 out the door including taxes and labor. Sweet deal!

I just got service B completed for $239 at Open Road Mercedes Benz in Bridgewater NJ. They have service specials on their website till 6/30. Like everything else you can shop around for service cost with different MB dealers. I had quotes from $239 - $550.

Do you get the whole B service for this price? including the cabin filter and maybe a brake flush?

Everything was completed for service B that is listed in the manural. Bridgewater NJ is about 40 minutes drive from NYC. They provide you with loaner cars if you book an appointment prior.

"Service B" does not include a brake flush... "Service B" is limited to a variety of checks including but not limited to "fluid check and top off if needed". If there is a loss of fluid, determining cause and performing repair is done with separate work order (i.e. a separate charge). That applies to "system flush and replace" services (brake/tranny/power steering... etc).
Additionally, and in theory, Service B does not include any fluid changes... Not even an oil change... In fact, if you look at the maintenance schedule, you'll see the "Engine - oil and filter change" listed under "Service # at every 13,000 miles or 1 year" but not under "US Service #/B at 26,000 miles or 2 years; after first every 26,000 miles and 2 years".
Check your work order and you'll see the "Engine - oil and filter change" and the "Service B" listed on 2 separate lines. Now, the way they advertise a "Service B", the advertised price may include the "Engine - oil and filter change".
So what the dealers will do, is they use the "Engine - oil and filter change" as the "hook" to bring you in every 13k miles, and every 2nd (4th, 6th, ... etc) service, the OBD system will tell you the "Service B" is due... (whereas every 1st, 3rd, 5th... etc... service, the OBD system will tell you "Service A" is due...).
By that same analogy, you can add the brake flush service (every 2 years or 26k miles) and/or the tranny flush service (every 3 years or 39k miles) but not necessarily because either one is part of the "Service B" schedule.
Same analogy also applies to "Service A".
Not sure the dealer would be my first choice for detailing services... Even if discounted!

Thanks guys! I just got my service A2 done (30k mile service) and I paid $10.31 net! Haha. They don't check what type of car its for or anything, they actually won't even know if you photocopy it. They just look at it, and take off $100. Make sure you put in 1998 ML to get it everytime. Also, I didn't keep doing different email addresses (I only have one and didn't want to keep making them). So you can just make up bogus ones and print right from the website.
One last question, does anyone know if this will apply towards additional services like alignments, detailing, etc? What defines "service"?
I may just print out a few! lol
