Luxury to AMG front bumper
Hi guys, I have a C200 CGI which have the luxury front bumper.
I was thinking of ordering the AMG bumper and lower grille from ebay, but what else do I need?
Can I reuse the fog lights, and all the brackets/screws/nuts?

I can tell you that you will need to get the fog lights for the AMG sports bumper. The luxury one I believe are more oval and the AMG sports ones are round. As for the brackets/screws/nuts for the bumper should be the same but the ones for the fog lights obviously different. Good luck

You do have to be careful that you're getting the AMG bumper that's built to fit the C200 as an original AMG bumper would require new fenders, etc.
This has been written about in the forum ino ther places. You might want to contact those who actually did the bumper replacement to find out what other pieces you might need.
Personally, I think if you just swap out the front grill and replace the 3 pt star on the hood, that'll get you close enough to the look without breaking the bank and all the possible headaches. Another line of thought would be to see if there is a refresh of the AMG for 2012 and see if they changed it in the direction you might prefer. I think if I were going to take on such a task, I'd try to make it look like the most current AMG version and not one that's been around for 4 years. But then to get a kit that would fit your C200 might take a while. When will the madness ever end. lol

I did thai in my c200 Kompressor. You can find complete kits on ebay. You need new fog lights , side skirts(to match th bumper) and rear bumper. The complete kit will go arround US$1,000.00 plus the installation and painting. Remenber to check how many holes you need in the rear bumper for the exhaust. I installed the c63 kit. You can check the thread c200k to c63 so you can see photos.

Just had a funny mental image.
radicalrev orders all the parts we recommended for the c63 amg. He leaves them in their boxes and takes the car to a shop to have it assembled and painted. Comes back to pick it up and he has what looks like a C63 amg instead of the sport model. That wouldn't be so bad, would it?
