iPod Amp part number help needed

I ordered an ipod amp for my 2009 C300 as listed by AcapulcoBill (# A 204 870 39 94) in another thread -- specifically asked for the Made in Germany version.

Dealer got it this AM. I went to the dealership and in the parking lot removed the panel below the glove box so that I could fit the part right away.

Was glad the part was made in Germany. But, when I went back to the car to fit it, it would not fit -- the connector from the ipod cable is an RJ45, but the socket on the amp was a modified RJ45. Similarly, the connector on the amp was a modified RJ45 and would not fit into the ipod module.

Went back in and they confirmed they had the right part. I removed my ipod module and took it in for comparison to another part they had. They looked identical except the sockets were different.

Unfortunately on my part the label was covered by double sided tape for the velcro. So, I had to go back home and slowly remove it to get the part number on the module.

The ipod module part number is A 004 827 37 45. The dealership confirmed that they see this part listed, but their system has no information on what year this belongs to and cannot look up whether there is an ipod amp that matches this.

Am hoping someone on this forum can help and end my morning of frustration

Mystery remains -- I tried both Von Housen and Smythe dealerships -- they can see part # A004 827 37 45 only if they enter the part number, but there is no info in the system on what car it is for. Price for this part is double the "correct" part -- which Smythe says is A004 827 03 45 (while Von Housen quoted a part that starts with A204).

Without more info on part # A004 827 37 45 they can't tell me if an amp is avail that matches this part. Looks like I'm stuck.

I put in the number and could not find it on that site. What number did you enter? Can you show me a screen shot -- I could be doing something wrong.
