Question about side mirror glass...

Question about side mirror glass...
Ok i dont know how or why i noticed this today, but my driver side mirror doesnt say "Objects in mirror are closer than they appear, while the passenger side does say that" Can anyone run out to their car and let me know if this is how it is on theirs also? Thanks

Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standards do not allow any concavity or convexity to the driver side mirror to increase the field of view. The driver mirror must be flat and directly representative of the true image. The passenger side mirror may provide a larger field of view, which makes objects seem further away. This requirement applies to all cars sold in the U.S.
