Just bought a 08 C350 with 7k miles, Leather, Nav, HK sound, 18's.

Only "mod" so far is 30% ceramic tint all around, and I have a phillips HID kit sitting here waiting for install.

Congrats, wow does it really have leather, that's really rare, I don't think I have ever seen a C300 Sport here in the US with leather!

I would rather have a newer low mile C than an 06 CLS with 80k on it

Damn - that CLS55 is F'in sweet for $33K - I had no idea they were that affordable...

However - That C350 is way overpriced, I doubt the OP paid over $30K for his car...

I KBB'ed a 2006 CLS55 with 41k miles and in excellent condition from private seller, the suggested price is around $41k, $44k from dealer. This tells me that the seller's price is an anomaly. Perhaps there are underlying mechanical issues that wouldn't show up in a carfax report. Or perhaps the seller needs to get rid of it in a hurry, and there is nothing wrong with the car itself.

At the end of the day, it's a matter of personal choice.

Thats the damn truth, its been raining every day down here in sunny FL so trying to keep the car clean is damn near impossible. Spent 2 hours on it earlier today. Later in the week its going to my detail guy for a full job.

how much did you pay for the car? I'm pretty sore that I didn't get a fully loaded preowned and instead opted for a new "stripper" in the same price range...

35k after everything was said and done. I was all set on buying new but snagged this one for 10k+ off with 7k miles so it was a no brainer.

wow. im definitely jealous. paid 33k OTD for a new 300 with nothing except for wood trim. I was offered a different white one with the entire multimedia package for 34 OTD. Issue was interior was tan and that was a deal breaker. For 35k OTD I'd easily pick this as well.

I had a black 330CI when I lived in Brandon Florida a few years ago, I would wash it 3 times a week...It seemed to literally rain every afternoon for less than an hour before my ride home from work..and then there was the "love bugs" that would get smashed all over it and leave thier toxic purple marks...ughhh not easy down there, especially detailing OCD...

Try dunking fabric softened sheets in your wash bucket and then using them like a fabric clay bar. The softener breaks down the guts and kills the acidity while catching all the particles in the fabric. Just try it.
