Interior lights/boot

Hi

On my W204, when I first unlock the car or open the boot the internal light/boot light don't stay on very long.
Once the boot or door is open, the boot light/interior lights only stays on for 30 sec before turning off.

When I put the key in the ignition, or when I get out of the car after driving remove the key, the light stays on for much longer.

Any ideas on how to make them stay on longer without putting the key in the ignition?

Thanks

yea same here went to dealers asking if they could program it said its not possible. Why do you need it to stay on longer? I need it for my puddle light setup wire tapped to rear dome light. My solution so far is to leave one door semi closed on the car and click the lock button every 5 min its a hassle. But the lights would stay on and the car would be locked

This is really annoying! 30 sec is just not long enough when i'm trying to find something in the boot!!

However about 1 in 30 time, the lights do stay on longer then 30 sec!

Does anyone else have this issue?

Thanks
