I LIVE IN KENSINGTON IN LONDON AND THE OTHER DAY I WAS ON MY WAY TO WORK AND I SAW THIS C63 AMG AND IT DIDNT SOUND LIKE A STANDARD C63 AND IT WAS VERY LOUD AND IT SOUNDS LIKE SOMETHING CRACKING WHEN I GOT HOME I WENT ON YOUTUBE I TYPED IN 'C63 AMG LONDON ' AND THE SAME CAR APPEARED . I AM SURE IT DOES NOT HAVE A STANDARD C63 EXHAUST AS I HAVE A COMPLETLEY STANDARD C63 AND IT DOESNT SOUND LIKE THIS .. IF ANYONE KNOWS CAN THEY TELL ME AS I MUST HAVE THIS EXHAUST SYSTEM ON MY C63

Actually, I believe it is the stock exhaust, but he removed the CATS (Catalytic converter) which is illegal because you won't pass emissions. But you gain a ton of horsepower. In the second video they guy cut out the resonator (which is just a noise suppressor) and replaced with straight pipes. However, people usually use the term "straight pipes" when they remove the mufflers too, but that second c63 didn't remove them (at least I don't think he did).

If you ask me the first one still had the stock exhaust, because it sounds like similar stock characteristics, just much louder and throatier (doing the cats would do this). So while I don't think he touched the mufflers and resonator (if the c63 even has one) it is possible he had. You would probably get better results asking this in the c63 thread, you might even find the guy who has the car. Oh, and you can try messaging his youtube account or ask on the video.
