Need an advice (warranty and diagnosis)
Hi, all.
Any comments or advice would be greatly appreciated!!
My 2008 C300 generated high-pitch whistling/squealing noise, and Mercedes Benz of Buckhead in Atlanta GA replaced 1)belt tensioner and 2)alternator bearing using my warranty last month. After a few days ago, it generated the same noise, and when I brought my car in again, there was no action taken since my car made no noise at that time at the dealer.
Now, my car has more than 52000 miles so the warranty has been expired, and my car is still making the same high-pitch whistling noise. (more often than last month) So, I contacted MB headquarters and was told to bring my car in for the dianosis to see whether the problem presented now is the same problem.
The problem is that I still have to pay for the dianosis and if they conclude that the current noise is not the same as the past noise caused by the same issue, then they would not repair it for free.
MB service center could not perform the right dianosis last month, and I do not want to pay the dianosis fee for nothing (or wrong dianosis again)...
What do you think??
Any comments or advice would be greatly appreciated!!
