Exchange head lights

Hi all,

I have bought a damaged C63 and both headlights are damaged. I need to replace them both.

Now I can find the C63 headlights fairly cheap but those dont have ILS (Intelligent Light System) and Curve Lighs (options 615 and 622)
For the same price I can also find NON-C63 headlights that do have ILS and Curve lights. Any difference except the darker tint?

The original headlights do have these options, does anyone know if that will be an issue? I do have both Control units from the damaged headlights but the new ones also come with Control Units, wich ones should then be used?

Im 99% sure the C63 lights DO NOT interchange easily w regular 300/350 lights, even though they look almost alike. The C63 has a longer hood and different grille and nose piece, search for a LED light thread by a guy in canada with a white C300 who did the swap of C63 into the 300 chassis, said it was royal pain and NOT worth the trouble he spent, I believe he had to fab brackets and mounts.

Here you go @Krille_krille I know this is a old post but replaced mine recently. Just replaced the clear lenses on the OEM HID's and storing them while they look new if...big if....I ever sell my C63. Had to make a custom adapter to make these work. . Can also try to hit up SpecD as they have an adapter that goes from HID factory plug to halogen. Not advertised anywhere....but they have it. Supposed to go with the "new" W204 LED head lights they sell. But they may sell them separately. I reversed engineered off that plug before I returned them. I liked those lights but produced parking light errors that they say is a known issue. So returned those until they figure out the issue and went with these instead.
