Brake pad sensor ?

I had a friend replace the rear brake pads earlier today, I didn't watch him do it. Now I'm getting a service message to check brake pad wear, I'm assuming this might be something I need to reset, or do i need to get new sensors ? or ?

The kit should have come with the sensor (if you bought OEM)

Problem solved, reached through the wheel and pushed on a wire plug type thing and either that solved it or the car reset itself. I don't know which, but the warning is no longer coming on.

Wire must have come off the sensor. It is a very simple thing basically just two wires in a plastic tube and when the pads have worn down to a certain point it wears away at the tube exposing the wires and they complete the curcuit through the rotor.
