2012 C-Class BULBS without lighting package

Might I ask why so many of you didnt get HID when you bought the car being there brand new and the lighting pack is an 800 dollar option and not even a 20 dollar boost in your monthly payment?

Plain and simple a regular headlamp will NEVER look like an HID because it isnt one, and putting in a HID in a non projector lens just makes you a irriation on the road with all the scattered light from a bulb not designed for the housing, either find aftermarket projectors or bite the bullet and order HID housed '12 headlights.

I put Philips Diamond Visions in the 2012 C and it matches the DRL LED perfectly and is decently bright (no where near HIDs but bright enough). I switched the parking lights to error free leds off of eBay. I had also tried the MTEC cosmo Blue and although the color was good, the brightness was not as bright as the Philips DV's. Hope this helps. Just a heads up, you need to search to find the Diamond Visions as they do not sell them in the US.

Can you post pics with the DIAMOND vision please? I ordered them for my E with standard halogens and want to see how nicely they match the LED's. Thanks

I can not seem to get a good picture that accurately shows them (just a blur lol). I will tell you that they match the LEDs that MB uses on the 2012 C-class DRL (and I think those LEDs are the same color as on the ones on the E and S DRL - if someone can confirm)

Got them off of eBay (some seller in UK). Beware of fakes supposedly floating around eBay, if the price is below $45 - I would avoid. I know there are also a few online retailers that sell them too. No error light at all since you are swapping out H7 bulbs that use the same wattage...
