18x8 with a +35 offset will I rub!?
I found a set of wheels I want they are 18x8 with a +35 offest and i want to go with a 18 40 245 size tire.. thoughts?, they will be going on my 2008 c300 with AWD will I have rubbing issues?
also I don't want staggered wheels because I drive a lot and would like to be able to rotate my tires so I can use all the life I can get out of them.

it wont rub at stock height, not even close. I have a set of 9.5 with +35 offset and it doesnt rub with a 255/35/18 out back. I would go with 225 or 235 max w a 40/18, because 245 is very fat for 8" width. They will look good and be flush w the fenders.

it depends on how wide the wheel is. If you were to get the wheels u stated above, you would need a +40ish offset to be safe, you could get away with those wheels at +35 but u would need to run 215/40/18 or a 215/35/18 to be sure not to rub.

yes they can work with the right tires. All dropping the car does is change the angle the wheel comes under the fender at, doesnt change the wishbone angle itself. A +35 will clear out back in a 9.5 rim w a 255/35/18 at stock ride height. Those rims u linked are 8" so theres a difference of .75" because u have to split the reduced size in half, theres 2 sides to the wheel. If you take into account the dropped height at 1.5 inches (a supersports drop or almost bottom on coils) u gain more travel for the reduced rim and then u reduce ur tire sidewall and profile, and a 215/35/18 will clear. Its a stretched tire, not my first choice for these cars, but it will work. If you can find a +40 or a little more u could do 235/40/18 and have some good meat to protect the wheels a better ride and still tuck real nice, and be able to rotate. Theres alot of wheels for benzes at +35, it was standard offset for non-amg cars for like 10 years on almost all models, but its not great for our cars. The other stock wheels that will work are all the new style E classes, they have the same offsets as our cars. The factory 6 spoke amg splits that come on E class are sweeeet
