The knowledge is different from dealer to dealer. I want the right (passenger rear view mirror) move down on my wife's 08E350, when shift to reverse so I can see the curb. 2 MB dealers (including the dealer, where I get the car) say NO, MB had remove that feature since 2007 model year. I call another dealer (Fletcher Jones in Newport Beach), asking them questions, they said bring the car in, within 15 minutes, FJ did add this feature to my wife's E350. They also activate my cousin 2006C280 (W203) chirp (when lock & unlock) also the light flashing (the cars are within warranty), they do not charge anything. FJ motors is a premium MB dealer in Orange County, CA, the knowledge base of theirs SA & technicians are far ahead of other local MB dealer. Go find another MB dealer that can active the chirp on your W204 !!!! Good luck.

you looking to trying to remove the "car horn" and replace it with the chirp like the previous model? (my 2008 had the chirp) if so that would be great as i dont like the honk either. ps are you in the netherlands?

I'm in the states.. I want the chirp to replace the horn... I'm sure It can probably be done using the same method used to program other vehicles but I want confirmation from other owners if they have the chirp... On my w203 the rear SAM had to be set to the Netherlands setting verse US...
