New member and first post here. I have been lurking for a while now in this forum to get more insight and more info for my first Mercedes auto. I took delivery yesterday of a 2012 C300 Sports 4matic with PP1, Launch Command Package, Magnetite Black with black MB-Tex and Burl Wood interior. This was a replacement of our G37xS.

I was 50-50 wether to get the Luxury or Sports model but finally decided to get the sports one. My friend, who currently owns an 09 C300 Sports, presented a good arguments on gettting the sports model.

Aside from the model type, I was also going back and forth wether to get the 2011 or the 2012. Eventually, after much reading and researched, I decided to get the 2012 MY. I got a really good deal on this new purchase.

One thing that I can say, IMHO, the interior of the 2012 C300 is better than my E92M3. That is one of the main reason why I picked up the MB against other brand including BMW.

I will post more reviews as I familiarize myself on this car. Hoping to share more info and to read others comment/info as well.

@Choy: Agree about the superiority of the MY2012 interior, even the older MY2008-2010 interior is far better than the E92/E90. Last decent 3-series interior was the E46. Some still like the look & feel of the A4, but with the new C204, not anymore.

Make SURE you got the HK Logic 7 stereo. You will be very sorry if you didn't, as the stock speakers really are terrible.

Also read all 230+ pages of your owners manual. Worth the time to do it.

The Audi interior IMHO is still better but the MB is getting closer and closer that it is only a few points that separates the two brands.

The packages for the MY 2012 is better than that of the previous MY. PP1 already includes the HK Logic 7 and the Launch Command already includes the Nav. That is also the other reason why I decide to get the 2012 MY.

Also another thing that I noticed, the wheels on my new C300 have a 17" AMG wheels. The MB site didn't mention anything about it. Even the pcitures in their C lineup gallery shows different wheels.

I will upload some pics ASAP.

I'm really surprised that anyone considers the current A4 to be better than the facelifted C class interior. I was actually benchmarking them back to back and the A4 was significantly cheaper with options (thanks to it being an older car) but the interior to me was a bit of a letdown. Yes it looks pro with all the buttons/switches but the quality isn't as good as the MB (i.e. the buttons) and the in-dash LCD isn't as high quality as the new MB screen. It's by no means a shabby interior but the MB definitely felt far more luxurious/premium. But that could just be my perspective.

Should note that I was comparing AUDM MB C250 CDI vs. Audi A4 2.0T and the respective prices with options after discount was approximately $75k vs. $60k.
