Well I won't lie to you, this one is not for me but if you like it thats cool. Yes the OEM one is pretty lame I have been trying to find one I like. Forgot to take the aftermarket one out of Darth V1 and the auto parts store I bought it from doesn't carry it any longer besides no CF on V2. And as far as haters they are almost everywhere on the internet.

Not a fan of the 8-ball look, it doesn't fit the look of the interior, but it's your car and if you like it than I respect that.

I actually like my OEM all-silver shift knob. It feels very nice to the touch and shows no fingerprints. The only shift knob I would consider would be the Brabus knob, but I wouldn't pay that much for it.

After all this discussion, no one has raised the fatal flaw with this shift knob.

It's attached to an automatic trans!

I know....just kidding...seemed the thread could use lightening up a bit...but I gave up the 350 for a 300 when I found out it was the only way to get a stick.

It looks very.....unique
My sport model came with the silver plastic shifter and I am not too fond of it. But somehow I just couldn't justify spending close to $200 for an OEM leather one

yeaa that was my exact thoughts, I hated the plastic silver one, I liked the brabus black one but its like $300+ and I can justify spending that, specially when I had this knob on my shelf

thanks dude, Its definitely different and thats what I was going for, this shift knob was for a 350z which is thread fitted, the w204 is a compression fit so I just put some 3m tape on the shaft and screwed the knob on. It works perfect and is solidly on there.

I have already had to have the dealer replace my Manual's shift knob once due to the aluminum coming off the edge and scratching the crap out of my hand while I shifted. I am going to get a different one eventually because the stocker is crap. It actually came off while I was driving once. Compression fit is the worst idea ever.
