Utter Confusion on wheels.... HELP

I posted on benzworld as well......lets see if I get get some help......lol
Morning-
I'm the proud new owner of DerSpeed's 2008 C300, which I pick up on Monday, when I get home from overseas...

I need some advice on my next wheel move...
1. Stay with the 17s and just put on the Eibach Pro kit and call it a day.
2. Go with 18 AMGs and the Eibach Pro kit .
3. Go with a regular set of 18s (aftermarket)...maybe non staggered (18x8.5) and the Eibach Pro kit.
4. Go with a set of 19s (found a nice set of MRR GT1s) and leave the suspension alone.
I'm 37 and this will be a semi daily driver in the northern VA area. I'm looking to retain most of the stock comfort and ride. I know I'll loose some of that regardless.....but I don't wanna compromise it completely. My main goal is to get rid of the fender gap... My last car sat perfectly in my opinion.....with 18s and the TeinH kit....

Any input is appreciated. I've researched and have found that if I go 18s or 19s (aftermarket) that I need at least 40/45 offset......

H&R Super Sports or Street Performance Coils. Eibach sways too.

1 & 2. You already answered.
3.Yes. But I recommend the H&R's Super Sports instead of Eibach.
4.Even if you do 19's- you'll still need the drop.

Judging by the photo of your last car- You will most likely want aftermarket wheels and a good drop.
If the wheels are in good shape (and I think they are) you will have no problem selling them. If you don't want to negatively effect ride quality, stick with 18's. I'm the same age and I can't stand it when I'm told I need to go big with 19's or 20's. I will not sacrifice ride quality and performance.
Enjoy the new ride.

Yea it was a tossup between H&Rs and the Eibachs. Went ahead and ordered a set of the Eibachs....front and rear sway bars....and a Smerc strut tower brace. I'm hoping that that's all I will do....like everything else though...it never ends. When I built my XJ earlier this year, I was shooting for 3" of lift, since my old white one sat at 5.5" ....and we can all guess if she's sitting at 3" or not....lol...

if your dead set on lowering then plan ur wheels accordingly. Either stock set will be fine w a drop, u will get more of a look w aftermarkets. just make sure u get high enough offsets to clear the drop, staggered is more aggressive than even all around, but same all around u can rotate, will give u more tire life. Congrats on the car, he kept it in mint condition from the looks of it

As those who've suggested already. H&R Super sports. I had H&R sports on mine which has a drop comparable to the Eibach and wasn't too happy as it was pretty mild and still had plenty of gap left (about 2.5 fingers). There should be plenty of pics posted of both setups though, so give search a shot.

....I think when it comes down to it....my main confusion is the offset piece of the puzzle. I was surfing eBay and some other sites for wheels of the recommended offset...and was finding mainly 35-40 offset. Found a few staggered sets with 40/45......

I'd say go for H&R sports.
Here's a pic for for reference, i have H&R sports with forgestars F14 19" i love them. I gotta say wish the front would have been lower but im happy with it.

No to Eibach! Yes to H&R Super Sports.
Umm regarding the wheels...definitely go with staggered. Stock AMG's or aftermarket wheels its really up to you.

Just got my 18" AMG powder coated (Autumn Black) couple of days ago
