hi, guys, this is my first post here. I just got the 2012 C300 4Matic yesterday, it's my first Mercedes, I've fell in love with it in one night. But there is a question, I found when I turned the fog light on, the LED DRL will turn off, is it normal? thank you!

Hi. I think the new models with the LED DRL do not have fogs.
Mine don't....

I don't know about 2012. 2011 Luxury sedan has both front and rear fogs, but sports sedan only has the rear fog, the front is DRL which is at full brightness during the day, and dims at night or when headlight is automatically on.

right, the front fog lights are replaced by LED DRL....So basically mine doesn't have front fog lights...
it has rear fog light, though

I just don't really understand why they can't simply keep the DRL on all the time... because it's mandatory in Canada.

I thought the '12 models had the foglamps integrated into the main headlamp unit like our '10 e coupe w/ LED DRL does.

I checked it again, it doesn't have foglamps in the main unit, only the LED DRL below

No, there are no fog lights on the 2012 vehicles, as confirmed by the product manager at MBUSA. A fog lamp would be ineffective in a head lamp unit, in any event, as it would be too high off the ground to get under a layer of fog.
