NAV antenna color change?

NAV antenna color change?
Brought my 2011 C350 (took delivery in 6/11) in for service as the Navi was out of control... Picked it up today and instead of a black NAV attenna, it was color matched to "quartz blue" - very nice... Everyone at the dealer commented on how good it looked ?!? Is this unique? Every C-class I've seen in FL has a black antenna... BTW, it does look BMW-like...

There had been a discussion about this a few years ago. If I remember correctly it was determined that it will affect the GPS reception. I would suggest a search before doing it.
