Mercedes Benz C200 Avantgarde 2011

Surround lighting

Hi, I just bought a new MB C200 Avantgarde,
it's my first MB so still getting used to,
within the settings of the dashboard, when I go into lights,
there is one setting called Surround Lighting, with the option to switch on and off.

I did it, but could no see anything happening,
does anyone know what it is for?

It if is enabled and you have your headlight switch set to automatic, the LED's and Eyebrows will come on when you unlock the door remotely.

At night when the main lights get switched on you will see some small lights in the inside door handles and around the arm rest illuminate.

So basically at night the inside cabin will be surrounded in a warm orange glow.

Thanks a lot Matt, your answer is the correct one, I tested again and paid attention to those specific lights and yes if not enabled they don't come on.
