Wheel locks for 2012 C300 sport

I'm trying to purchase wheel locks, without buying from the dealership itself. I've tried searching for the thread size, but could not find anything.

From what I can see, the size of 2011 equivalent is 12mm x 1.50", however after purchasing these, they don't fit.

Does anyone know?

Thanks in advance.

my 2011 and 2008 are 14mm x 1.5 thread pitch. And for what its worth dont bother with wheel locks. I have a set of brabus wheels worth about 4 grand and I dont have locks. Nobody is gonna steal your stocks or otherwise

People will most certainly steal your stock wheels - I've seen it all too much. Wheel locks that actually thwart a thief are hard to find. Although they often prove futile, they are a good deterrent.

acr2001,

Since I see you have the same car, have you purchased a set yet?

I use these on my C350 with the AMG wheels

I don't have the car anymore, so the locks are just sitting on my shelf

Not yet. Trying to find a really solid set. From what I understand, the best wheel locks have a key that is actually inserted into a slot around the permitter - most importantly, this slot has a perfectly round head around it which spins freely. This makes it a lot harder for a thief to jam a socket onto the head with a hammer and remove it.

Nothing is fool proof though - one poster mentioned that they usually just tighten the hell out of the other bolts so that the wheel lock becomes loose and can be freely turned and removed. Then they loosen the other bolts. Still, I have a feeling there is a product out there that is VERY hard to remove without a key. Just haven't found it yet!!

You could always take the slightly insane route and replace all your bolts with wheel locks This brings up a new problem though - are the wheel locks solid enough to be trusted with your life? Better be high quality metal.
