First time Mercedes Owner.
Just bought my first Mercedes. Always have been a GM owner, traded my 07 SS Trailblazer For my 2008 (w204) C300 black on black 6spd. I always drove Benz's back in portugal when i would visit. So this year when my father-inlaw bought a 94 c220 diesel in portugal i was hooked and returned home to buy one. Hope i can help everyone once i find out more about my c-class.

welcome and yes I agree they are best suited for the highway. my 2010 really loves to stretch her legs on the long roads with high speed limits.

Just over 6 months so far so good. Around 14,000 km's driven. 57,000 original km's. Had My belt tensioner and belt replaced on warranty. That squeaking sound some hear at cold start up. Had my expansion plugs replaced. 2 plugs on cam covers from their description. leaking oil. My power steering pump going to be replaced soon. Constant whine sound. But been very good to me so far.
The man trans is primitive. But Love that my C has it. And Agreed. geared for the highway.
