W204 2012 - Sensitization LIGHT led upgrade

Hello,

I'd like to upgrade my sensitization light (on the bootom of the side mirror) to Led.

I cannot find anywhere :
- the model of bulbs to be used
- how to change them.

Anyone can help?

Thank you

I think they might already be LEDs. If I remember I'll take a look when I go out to the car later.

Well, those are aftermarket mirror covers. They already have LED's in there and come with a cable. You just have to wire it up (easiest is to wire it into the front or rear dome light). the stock w204 (2008-2011) don't have this puddle light on the stock mirror covers. I doubt the 2012 do either, but I'm not positive...

Did you know that there is a dome light controller in the door sill area?

This is where I had mine wired too... I have the aftermarket 4 illuminated door sills and they are all wired to the dome lights...

Meaning my door sills have a dim/fade function as they turn on and off, which is only accomplished by the dome lights...

I had the installer wire these puddle lights to these dome light controllers as well... that way they come on when i unlock the car as they should...

was an easy install and only took like 15 minutes for both sides

There are lights under the mirrors in the 2012. They are ugly yellow bulbs.

Yes, ACR2001 is right!
On facelift model (seems to be 2012 for US guys) it's indeed ugly yellow bulbs...

I'm wanted to change it with a led bulb (canbus) but I don't know the bulb model and how to change it either.

I cannot find the information anywhere (and It's of course not indicated in the manual)

Thx for your help
