I'm pleased to announce KLEEMNAN USA will be offering special pricing on ECU tunes for MBWorld members beginning now until the end of 2011. For the heavily discounted price of only $795.00 your M272 powered C-Class will realize gains of 20-25 HP and about 30 lb/ft of torque, along with improved throttle response, and removal of the top speed limiter. This special is being offered through KLEEMANN USA only, so please contact us directly if you'd like to take advantage. For the fastest response, please either email me: cory@kleemannusa.com or give us a ring: 719.473.6441.

Yes indeed- the C300 uses the M272. I'm afraid I don't have any dyno's of a C300 with a TUNE file.

All US C Classes until 2012 are M272 V6 Engines.

A C350 and C300 will be an M272 the 2012 are the only ones that arent with the exception of the C300 4Matic its a M272 the 2012 C350 is a new engine, and so is the C250 for which I dont know the engine codes

Well said.

The V6 found in the new 2012 is called the M276 (3.5L 'GDI'-Gasoline Direct injection, or CGI if you'd like). The C250 still uses the M271, however, it's referred to as the M271EVO (DE18LA if you want me to be supergeek) since it's now turbocharged and uses direct injection.

To take it one step further, the new N/A 5.5L engine in the upcoming SLK55 is called the M152, which is simply an M157 motor without the turbo's.
