I'm curious what people are really getting on the 250 engines. I believe they must be pretty good. My E350 cgi is getting 25-26 mpg in the city so the C 250 must be better.

I just got one a week ago and so far my overall MPG is ~22...but again this is only after 300 miles on a brand new motor. Overall MPG seems to be going up every day.

I am curious what others are getting and was looking for a thread just like this.

According to the computer, I get 24MPG in the city (when there's no traffic) and (very rarely) up to 40MPG on the highway (again, when there's no traffic). I usually average anywhere between 28-34 on the freeway.

My calculations for actual overall MPG is 26-27 (heavily weighted toward freeway driving).

Well what does your Multi Function Display say for "Since Reset"?

It really depends on your driving style. I've been hitting the EPA rated gas mileage with my c300 while driving normally (no sudden burst of acceleration but I don't drive extremely slow either).

I get about 1000kms per tank in my C250 CDI.

I only reset the display a few hundred miles ago (I currently have about 4600 mi total). It reads 28 MPG.
