08 & 09 W204s - Higher Mileage & Issues?
With more and more W204s out of warranty or nearing the end of warranty, I thought it might be useful to hear from some 2008 & 2009 W204 owners on repairs they have needed and mileage.
I have 37,000 miles. I haven't had mechanical issue (knock on wood), but I have had to have both front seats worked on (passenger required a $1500 adjustment part). I also had the rear brake pads replaced early on for excessive brake dust, and I had an automatic transmission software update. Finally, I had the rear door lock pins replaced.
Now I have a rattle from my rear headliner that is too late to fix.
Therefore, my biggest issues have been seats and rattles.
What kind of issues have you had on your early W204 and what mileage did this happen at?
I thought this might supply some additional, consolidated information, to help people decide on an early W204 they are looking to buy, or to help owners decide on if they want to extend their warranty.
Thanks!

I had almost 65k on my first C an 08 350. Only things were oil and filters, didnt even do the pads and Im rough on my cars. MB had to do the sunroof fix, it stuttered around 25k like alot of Cs do. Only bad thing was seat was starting to rip on the side lower section, but thats another common thing. Overall good car w little trouble. so far my 2011 is no issues

I have 110K on mine and getting ready to do my first brake job for the rears. I had to replace my right rear light "circuit board" thing that controls the brake lights and such. That was a $300 repair. Other than the A&B services, I haven't had anything else done to the car.

Great information all! Nice to hear about some of these W204s that have truly been used/enjoyed, and holding up nicely. Appreciate that feedback.
