Hi friends,

I've got a 2002 W203 C320 and i'm considering switching over to a 2008 W204 C200.

The latter is going to cost a little over double. Reason for change is the new shape & interior, less chores etc.

However, power / acceleration are a main consideration. Merc website say the new C200 does 0-62 mph (0-100 km/hr) in just about the same time as the old C320 i.e. 7.8 seconds.

Please give your opinion / suggestion for this move / change.

Why don't you buy the w204 c300 or c350?the w204 series is better everywhere ...

Its just the cars you mentioned are out of my budget and atleast 25 - 30 percent more expensive than the C200. My all time favourite is C350 W204 but can't afford a good one right now...

Any experience of the C320, it should be better in acceleration compared to the C200 (W204)...

ok.....so if you can buy the c200k with sport package amg and if you don't like acceleration put the k-box boost kit from kleeman and you wii be satisfied from torque and power....
